Pearl Export Select ELX Drum Sets
 January 28, 1999For 1999, the Pearl ELX Export Select receives new set configurations,
new colors, and lower component prices.
New ELX configurations include the ELX 20-5H that features 8"x10",
9"x12", and 12"x14" rack toms and the ELX 20-5 that features
8"x10", 9"x12", and 14"x14" floor tom. The 8"x10"
and 9"x12" toms are offered separately as components.
Two new colors, #176 Cobalt Mist and #177 Sahara Mist are now available. These
join the current finishes that include #170 Burgundy Mist, #171 Ebony Mist,
#173 Teal Mist, #174 Amber Mist, and #175 Scarlet Mist for a total of seven
high gloss lacquer finishes.
Price reductions of up to 22% have been applied to the suggested list prices
of component bass drums and toms for added value to consumers.
Standard ELX features include SS-514 (5 1/2"x14") SensiTone-style
steel snare drum, I.S.S.,
double braced PowerPro hardware, and ProTone heads.
