Roland Introduces Five New Atelier Digital
Organs January 29, 1999Roland Corporation is proud to introduce five
new Atelier organs: the AT-20R, AT-30R, AT-60R, AT-80R, and AT-90R. These new
Ateliers represent Roland's finest organs to date, incorporating a wealth of
new sounds, new music styles and more.
The new AT-20R and AT-30R are affordable additions to the Atelier line. Both
feature a simple design, user-friendly interface and superb sound quality. The
AT-20R and AT-30R feature a 49-key upper manual and 61-key lower manual-also
usable as a fully expressive digital piano with touch sensitivity-and a dedicated
damper pedal. Other highlights include new jazz scatting vocal sound and new
grand piano sound. Both organs also have new American music styles and new Acoustic
styles perfect for "unplugged"-style performances.
The AT-60R and AT-80R build upon the features of the AT-20R and AT-30R. These
two new organs feature superb Roland sound quality, elegant craftsmanship, easy
operation, GS/GM compatibility for use with Standard MIDI Files, and a 20-note
pedalboard. Both organs also have even more new vocal sounds, including Gregorian
chants, boys choir, and gospel choir, as well as new vocal phrases like "Amen"
and "Hallelujah."
The new flagship AT-90R incorporates all the features of the Atelier line into
a full-featured console organ with superb sound quality, easy operation, piano-style
performance capabilities and full GS/GM compatibility for use with SMF's. Features
include organ footage tabs, Harmony Intelligence and a radiating pedalboard.
The AT-90R's sound source boasts a vast array of sounds for unmatched versatility
and expression.
Owners of the AT-80/90 models will also be able to "upgrade" their
organs with new features and sounds via dealer-installed circuit boards. This
enables Atelier customers to buy with increased confidence while lessening a
dealer's investment in used, trade-in and new inventory. For more information, visit Roland on the web at www.rolandus.com. |
