SWR Releases Bass 750 and Power 750 Amplifiers January 28, 1999SWR Sound Corporation, manufacturer of the World's Finest Bass Systems, is proud to announce a new
addition to its Professional Series of Amplifiers, The Bass 750. Unveiled at the 1999 Winter NAMM
convention, the Bass 750 is the bigger brother of SWR's Bass 350.
The Bass 750 is a tonal masterpiece designed as the result of consumer demand for a system combining
the pure sound of the Super Redhead's pre-amp with enough power to fill even the largest concert
venue. Housed in an aluminum chassis with a chromed steel front panel, this powerhouse system
delivers 750 watts of wall-shaking signal at 4 ohms and a tremendous 850 watts RMS at 2.6 ohms.
The Bass-750 also comes equipped with standard SWR features including a Variable Mid-Range EQ,
Side Chain Effects Loop, Effects Blend Control, Adjustable Limiter, XLR Balanced Out, Tuner Send,
Speak-On Output Jacks, Headphone Jack, and a Speaker On/Off switch. Like the Super Redhead, the
rackmountable Bass 750 also boasts Pull Turbo and Pull Transparency circuitry.
For those in need of even more power, SWR has also created a Power Amp version of the Bass 750.
Dubbed the Power 750, this unit also delivers 750 watts at 4 ohms and 850 watts RMS at 2.6 ohms.
Power 750 features include a 4 segment LED Dot Bar Display, Slave Outputs and both 1/4" and
Speak-On Output Jacks, all housed in a rackmountable aluminum chassis with a chromed steel front
panel.
