New EarAmp Stereo In-Ear Monitor System from Samson
January 28, 1999Designed to bring professional ear monitoring to a wide range of users,
the Samson EarAmp offers superlative audio quality and control in a beltpack
size package. The stereo EarAmp system includes individual volume and balance
controls for the best possible mix, along with separate bass and treble controls
to fine-tune the signal and a limiter control to set the audio level.
The EarAmp can be operated either in Stereo mode or in the Dual mode with
two independent mono signals using the balance control to adjust the relative
volume of source 1 to source 2. In Dual mode, the mixed signal is presented
to the earbuds in mono. Other features include a headphone jack (220 mW @ 30
ohms) and additional adjustment capability in the battery compartment. The EarAmp
comes supplied with a stereo input cable and a pair of earbuds connecting to
the EarAmp's stereo mini output.
