Sampling/Sound Libraries produced for Steinberg by the renowned sound developer
Sounds Good. Each title presents 300-400 MB (500 -1 000 Sounds) of unique, newly
produced audio material presented in 4 different formats, for maximum flexibility,
on each title. Each title is a Triple (3) Disc set! with additional disc(s)
containing Steinberg Software demos. Compatible with everything that does Sampling
and Hard Disc Recording thanks to the 4 Formats:
- REX files for use with Cubase VST and other compatible software
- WAV files for use with all Windows/PC Audio Sequencers & Music Software
- AIFF files for use with all Mac Audio Sequencers & Music Software
- Audio for any and all Samplers, no matter how old or how new
About REX files - REX files are loops that have been sliced up into
their individual components in the program Recycle! from Propellerheads/Steinberg.
These files can be played back from Audio Tracks in Cubase VST. You can change
the tempo of the song and REX loops will adjust and play correctly. More and
more content producers will support the REX file format in the future. All loops
adhere strictly to Sounds Good´s BPM Templates in which all loops are
in tempos of even 10s. The tonalities of instrument loops are also standardized
to enable maximum ease of mixing'n'matching loops and riffs within and between
the various titles. Cubase VST systems now play back up to 96 tracks of Audio
on standard equipment so it's possible to substitute a Sampler with Hard Disk
Recordings for triggering of Loops, Riffs and FXs.
The Titles:
THE ELECTRO AGE - Electro, a chameleon drifting in time - to some it´s
electronic funk, to others it´s the music of Kraftwerk and their followers
and some more recent experimental & minimalistic technoish music. The Electro
Age covers all these bases and is great material for anybody involved in modern
electronic Pop and Dance Music. 100-160 BPM.
DRUM´n´BASS X-Citers - The whole spectrum of this vibrant
and progressive genre, from freaky Left Field FX Loops over Jazzy & Funky
Rhythms to some Rock based loops. A huge selection of Drum Loops, Fills and
Hits. Many with variations. Also with heavily processed and (mal)treated rhythms
that can be used to add vivid backgrounds to the rhythms, or used for surprise
Leftfield attacks. Loops to push your songs into new dimensions.
ON A LATIN TIP - Here´s a great selection of Latin loops waiting
to be Sampled. This title is not made for recreating complete traditional Latin
songs (although it can be done) but is intended as spice to add to any modern
music style. Perfect live elements for HipHop, R'n'B and Drum'n'Bass. Adds interesting
and contrasting textures to House and varieties of electronic Dance music.
CHEMICAL BIG BEATS - This title has nothing but Drum Loops, but what
a killing selection of Leftfield beats in the 80-130 BPM Range it is. Influences
range from HipHop, Dub, Ragga, Industrial, TripHop, Drum´n´Bass
etc.
COLD FUSION TECHOLOGIC - Current, Underground Techno with influences
from dub and dark minimalism. Drum Loops, Bass Loops and Melody Loops in 120-150
BPM. All Drum Loops come with variations and the individual hits.
HIP HOP BEATS AND TREATS - 3 different producer teams contributed to
this title of fresh HipHop loops a plenty. The Drum Loops cover the range from
the more Slick side of Hip Hop to the Raw & Dirty. Some really cool sections
of Affected Riddims from Vocoder, Talkbox and other Leftfield gear to spice
