Yamaha QT1BR Metronome{deck} January 28, 1999With an eye towards expanding its already popular metronome line, Yamaha Corporation
of America introduces the QT1BR quartz metronome with wood-grain finish at Winter
NAMM '99. The distinctive contemporary design will be available on March 1, 1999,
joining the QT1 teal and black models in the marketplace. The QTIBR provides features
such as volume control and two beat sounds that cannot be found on other metronomes
priced in it's class.
"The QT1 has been such a popular series that we wanted to make it attractive
to the thousands of pianists who have been using the same old metronomes for decades,"
says Dave Ominsky, Accessory marketing manager. "The new wood finish looks very
much at home on a piano and will appeal to the aesthetics of many piano owners."
The QT1BR maintains all of the popular features of the QT1, including an easy
to adjust tempo dial that provides a range of 40-208 beats per minute and a red
indicator light to signal the beat. It also provides an A4-440 Hz tone for tuning
instruments when an electronic tuner is not available. For more information, visit
