Cakewalk featured their professional and consumer music and
sound applications at the Intel Pentium 4 processor 2 GHz industry launch.
The SONAR digital multitrack recording system, combined with Intel's next-generation Pentium 4 processor, provides a complete, high-performance recording system suitable for
use in both full-service commercial recording studios and project-based studios.
"We are seeing 100% performance gains (compared to current Pentium III processor-based systems) when using SONAR with the new
Pentium 4 processor-based workstations--that means more than double the audio tracks, double the effects plug-ins, and double the

In addition to SONAR, Cakewalk Plasma and Cakewalk Pyro music software products will be demonstrated utilizing the performance of
the new Pentium 4 2GHz processor.
