Peter Frampton fans -- here’s your chance to meet the rock guitar legend this summer and help a
great cause at the same time.
Frampton is teaming up with the nonprofit organization Musicians On Call by giving them a pair of
tickets and backstage meet-and-greet passes to each of his concerts this summer. Musicians On
Call will auction these tickets and passes off to the highest bidder.
Fans interested in bidding on the tickets and backstage meet and greet passes should log on to the
internet at www.vh1.com/store. Scroll down the page and click on the “Frampton” section to place a
bid.
Musicians On Call was founded in 1999 with the mission of using music to promote and complement
the healing process in healthcare facilities. Additionally, Musicians On Call seeks to raise awareness
of the beneficial effects of music and entertainment for people in healthcare facilities. To date, the
organization has accomplished this through room-to-room hospital performances by both local
musicians and national celebrities, weekly music lessons, a musical instrument loan program, a CD
library donation program, as well as special projects with individual patients. Among groups and
performers which have supported Musicians On Call through ticket donations and hospital visits are
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers Band, Sting, Bon Jovi,
Levon Helm of the The Band, Britney Spears, Hanson, Def Leppard, Donald Fagen of Steely Dan, and
others.
