Roland, Pioneer, and Remix Magazine Launch Art of Mix Clinic Tour March 6, 2002
On March 25,
2002 it will launch The Art Of Mix Clinic Tour with co-sponsors Pioneer
Electronics and Remix Magazine. The clinics--which will kickoff at the 17th
annual Winter Music Conference in Miami Beach--will teach aspiring remixers
how to produce their own hit tracks using state-of-the-art Roland and
Pioneer gear including the Roland SH-32 Wave Acceleration Synth Module, the
BOSS SP-505 Groove Sampling Workstation, the BOSS BR-1180CD Digital
Recording Studio, as well as the Pioneer CDJ-1000 Digital Vinyl Turntable
and DJM-3000 19" Rack-Mountable Mixer.
Tour highlights include professional DJs and world famous remix artists
including a guest appearance by Roger Sanchez, who has taken his
distinctively soulful, experimental sets around the world-- from low-key
residencies in his native New York to the wide open spaces of Ibiza or
London's Fabric. Sanchez will demonstrate new Roland and Pioneer products
at the Winter Music Conference later this month and DJ/remix professional
Dean Coleman will continue to conduct additional clinics in cities
nationwide including Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco,
New York City and Atlanta.
All clinic attendees will also be eligible to enter for a chance to win a
pioneer CDJ-100 Digital Vinyl Turntable or a Roland SP-303 Dr. Sample
portable phrase sampler at each event. To find out when The Art Of Mix
