Harmony Central and AKAI Professional are giving away a new MPC1000 Music Production Center.
The latest member of the Akai MPC family, the MPC1000 brings the familiar MPC style and capabilities into a laptop sized format.
A brand new MPC1000 will be given away at the end of October to one lucky member of the Harmony Central Special Offers Opt In list.
As part of its lineage, the MPC1000 features the sixteen characteristic velocity and pressure sensitive pads that have been an established (and essential) component of the MPC series since its inception.
Other features include a large graphic display, huge RAM capacity, and USB "Mass Storage Class Support. Also included are two Q-Link sliders controlling filter cutoff, pitch, layering, attack, and decay, two stereo effects (Chorus, Flanger, Phase shifter, Tremolo, Flying pan, Reverb) and a 4-band EQ and compressor master effect.
The MPC1000 comes standard with 16MB of RAM expandable to 128MB with the optional EXM128 and data can be saved to Compact Flash Memory cards with a capacity of up to 2GB, transferred via USB directly to your PC or MAC.
