Free Digital Performer and Cubase SX Videos On-Line

MacAudioLab, makers of The Complete Digital Performer Learning Series, are offering free video tutorials on their website showcasing DP 4 and Cubase SX. "The main focus behind releasing these videos is to help users of DP 3 make a seamless transition to DP 4. The main difference between the 2 applications lie in the Mac OS rather than the programs, and I wanted to show this on the videos," says Michael Neal, President of MacAudioLab. "I also wanted to release some free Cubase SX videos to broaden the appeal for Mac OS X users, since the application has been out on OS X for awhile now."
The movies are 800X600 full screen shot QuickTime movies and focus on the following:
DP4 videos focus on: The new menu structure in DP4, Freeze Tracks function, Reason, Audio MIDI setup intro, Heal Separation Command, Link Selection, Replacing Drums in a REX file, Quantizing Audio in the context of a REX File.
Cubase SX videos focus on: Transport control functions, Looping with the Transport Control, Recording preparation, Recording preferences, audio interface setup, Destructive and Non-Destructive Fades & Cross Fades, Cross Fade Dialog box, etc.
