Free TR-808 Sounds Released for Roland's MV-8000

Roland Corp. U.S. announced new MV-8000 drum kit downloads, available now on Roland's web site. For a limited time, Roland is offering MV-8000 owners a
complete TR-808 drum kit for free. Every famous 808 sound, complete with
knob twists and nuances, has been captured in uncompressed,
full-resolution audio.
The first product of its kind to offer pattern-based
step-sequencing, the Roland TR-808 helped to shape the quirky and instantly
recognizable sounds of the 1980s. Propelled by its booming bass drum of
doom, the 808 became a staple of hip-hop, R&B, and pop, appearing on more
records than any other drum machine. Expensive and hard to find, the TR-808
is a rare treasure on today's vintage-instrument market.
