How would you like to visit the Seymour Duncan factory and get a detailed tour of the pickup manufacturing process? How would you like to meet Seymour and talk to him, face-to-face, about tone? How would you like to sit with Custom Shop manager Maricela Juarez and wind your own pickup? How would you like to jam on stage with the Seymour Duncan Band? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then ask yourself this one last question:
What are you doing on Friday and Saturday, April 22 and 23?
Seymour Duncan, the Santa Barbara-based pickup manufacturer, is about to enter their 30th year of business. And to celebrate, they are opening their doors to registered members of their Internet User Group Forum with a special "User Group Day," to be held Friday and Saturday April 22 - 23, 2005 in and around the Seymour Duncan factory in Santa Barbara, California.
User Group Day is open to all members of Seymour Duncan's on-line Forum (www.seymourduncan.com/forum/index.php). The registration deadline for User Group Day is Friday, April 1, 2005.
User Group Day's planned activities include a guided factory tour; meet-and-greet with Seymour W. Duncan, the company's chairman; an evening open jam with the Seymour Duncan Band; special guest artists; catered meals; and surprises -- some even Seymour doesn't know about we're told. In addition, all Forum members will get a chance to sit with Custom Shop Manager, Maricela Juarez, and build their own custom shop pickup: and it's all free.
