HHB debuts two new Ashdown power amplifiers, the PM600 and PM1000, at the NAMM Convention, at the Nashville Convention Center, Booth 1535. Exclusively distributed by HHB in North and South America, Ashdown amplification products combine innovative technology with classic, timeless aesthetics.

David Beesley, president of HHB Communications USA, comments, "Ashdown Engineering has applied much of their expertise developed through the innovation of their bass and acoustic amplification into the PM600 and PM1000 power amplifiers. Just one look at an Ashdown amp, and you know it's something very special, but it's the tone that really makes the difference. We're very pleased to be showcasing a pair of very innovative Ashdown power amplifiers at NAMM."

Referred to as Power Magnifiers, the PM600 and PM1000 deliver 300+300 watts rms and 500+500 watts rms respectively, into a 4 Ohm load. Both amplifiers feature quad cooling fans, reducing fan noise to negligible levels. An innovation pioneered in Ashdown bass amplifiers, the use of multiple fans running at slower speeds dramatically reduces noise, a feature that is likely to be of particular interest to users in studio monitoring applications.

Nneutrik Speakon and jack connectors are featured in a design that achieves high levels of audio performance through simple, elegant circuit design and the use of high-grade components throughout. Typical of Ashdown, high performance is also accompanied by stunning looks. The PM600 and 1000 feature a sweeping front-panel design which also incorporates the cooling vents, and includes VU level meters, level controls, and tamper-proof, independent relay start power on/off.
