This new compact pedal not only re-creates some of BOSS’ best vintage phasing effects, but also introduces new unidirectional "Rise" and "Fall" effects. Unlike most phasers, which follow up and down cycles only, the PH-3 is the first compact pedal that can produce entirely upward- ("Rise") or downward- ("Fall") moving sounds. In addition to these new effects sounds, the PH-3 also features a selection of multi-stage phasers—plus a Step effect—for a variety of classic phasing sounds. Syncing the PH-3’s phasing effects can be achieved simply by tapping the pedal to the desired tempo. Or, for maximum control, an optional expression pedal can be used to control the phasing rate in real time. Connections to the PH-3 include standard 1/4" input and output—perfect for use with guitars and keyboards. Like all BOSS compact pedals, the PH-3 Phase Shifter carries a 5-year limited warranty.
