New Bass Drumheads from EvansCoated White EQ Resonant Heads and G1 Bass Clear & Coated Heads  July 22, 2000Evans Drumheads is introducing two new bass drumhead lines to its extensive family of drum accessories, at Summer NAMM, Booths 2001 and 2111. The Evans line now includes EQ1 and EQ3 coated white resonant bass heads and G1 clear and coated bass heads.
The EQ1 and EQ3 coated white resonant bass drumheads have all the sound qualities of their black counterparts, but have the traditional white coated look that’s becoming more and more popular again. The EQ1 (with dry vents) and EQ3 (with a 5" offset mic hole) coated white heads are available for 18" to 26" drums.
The new G1 clear and coated bass heads are replacing Evans’ Uno 58 bass heads, and are excellent for a popular jazz sound. The Evans G1 bass heads are available for 18" to 28" drums.
