Korg Releases New "Vintage Archives" Expansion BoardCompany releases the fifth in a series of PCM expansion boards for the TRITON  July 22, 2000Korg announces the release of the latest PCM expansion board for their award-winning TRITON series keyboards and rack module. The new "Vintage Archives" (EXB-PCM05) contains legendary vintage synth and drum machine sounds, plus fresh, new timbres perfect for dance music.
As with other PCM expansion boards in the series, Vintage Archives provides 16 MB of new sampled waveforms and 128 new Programs and Combinations. Packed with legendary analog sounds from British, American and Japanese analog giants, the new board features great vintage synths, vocoders, tape-based keyboards and rhythm machines. It also includes Korg’s famed miniKorg7000S, MAXI Korg, MS20, Poly 6, Mono/Poly and DELTA synth sounds, for a total of 158 multi-samples and 56 drum samples.
