July 22, 2000Featuring 16 models of classic and collectible fuzz, distortions and overdrives, and four
programmable presets, the DM4 gives guitarists easy access to a set of world-class tones and
controls for customization. Many of the effects were inspired by such vintage classics as the MXR
Micro Amp, Ibanez Tube Screamer, ProCo RAT, Arbiter Fuzz Face, the Vox Tone Bender and the
Colorsound Overdriver. Others are exciting new sounds created by Line 6. Bypass can be
selected as true bypass, removing effects completely from the audio signal path, or as DSP
bypass for silent switching and delay remain. And Bass, Middle and Treble controls let users
select the perfect grind or growl.
Styled to match the other members of the Stomp Box Modeler family (the DL4 Delay Modeler and
