July 21, 2000Pawar Guitars will be debuting the latest L.R. Baggs Piezo system as an option on their Turn of the Century guitar at the July NAMM Show in Nashville. "We are very excited to be the first manufacturer to offer this version of their system," says Pawar President Jeff Johnston. "L.R. Baggs has continually raised the bar in piezo pickups and we are very excited to offer their piezo system as an option on our guitars."
The L.R. Baggs Tune-O-Matic Piezo System includes an onboard preamp that allows the best In piezo generated warm and natural acoustic guitar tones. The key for Pawar Guitars in choosing this ground breaking system is that it is buffered from the Turn of the Century's magnetic tones.
"That was definitely the key for us, to find a system that did not impact the pure tone of the Pawar Positive Tone Systematic," says Vice President of Research and Design Jay Pawar. "They've designed this system with two output jacks to give players the freedom to use the piezos in concert with magnetic signals, alone, or not at all," says Pawar. "You can plug a cord into the magnetic jack so as to offer true bypass, keeping the tone of the magnetic pickups pure."
Says Johnston "We feel pretty lucky because first the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop (suppliers of our proprietary magnetic. pickups) and now L.R. Baggs have agreed to work with us. This addition of the Tune-O-Matic Piezo System as an option supports our core mission which is to provide guitar players with all of your favorites tones in one guitar."
The L.R. Baggs Tune-O-Matic Piezo System will carry a suggested retail list price of an additional $500 on any Pawar Guitars model. For more information, visit their web site at www.pawarguitars.com. |
