Robles Roadcases: The Drink's On Us

A new drum case line emerges from puddles of beer.

So he put together his own company, hired some guys to research different non-absorbent materials, and designed a set of cases for drums and guitars. His debut line -- all of it in a blazing blue hue guaranteed not to disappear in dim backstage areas -- was exhibited at the Summer NAMM.

A beer-proof drum case? Harmony Central was skeptical. So, with Heineken in hand, we strolled over to the Robles booth to introduce ourselves.
