July 22, 2000Sabine, Inc. announces a rugged line of guitar pedals that give superior control of classic sounds using state-of-the-art analog circuitry - the new Sabine NexFX Pedals.
These pedals don’t just look good; they include features not found on any other pedals. Five broad-range adjustments on every Sabine NexFX pedal give guitar players superior control of their sound — much more than conventional pedals. Furthermore, Sabine NexFX pedals have wet and dry outputs to allow even more on-stage versatility — and the NexFX StereoChorus offers stereo panning with two outputs.
Designed for stage or studio, Sabine NexFX pedals have bright, backlit knobs and displays that light up for easy viewing and adjustment. A heavy-duty foot switch activates a hard-wire bypass — works either silently (for studio use) or with a click you can feel (for stage).
In addition, each pedal has a 9-volt power input and output, allowing all Sabine pedals (and most others) to be powered by just one Sabine power supply.
Sabine NexFX pedals are built to last with an all-metal case that is as functional as it is eye-catching. Battery exchange is quick and easy: lift the cover off with a squeeze, pop a new battery in and drop the cover back with a snap.

The NexFX Pedal Tuner is chromatic and automatic, and utilizes Sabine’s finest tuning algorithm for fast and accurate tuning. A large, bright, backlit display holds the biggest and brightest Note Indicator of all stage tuners for easy tuning. The NexFX Pedal Tuner has a Flat Tuning function that allows for quick transposing down 1, 2, 3, or 4 half steps, and a Calibrate Mode for fine adjustments of the tuner’s reference pitch.
- NexFX FuzzStortion (NEX-5100) Fuzz/Distortion pedal
The NexFX FuzzStortion has two tone controls for optimal sonic contouring and a broad range of sound, from light crunch to thick metal distortion.
- NexFX Overdrive (NEX-5200) Overdrive pedal
The NexFX Overdrive has a broad range of classic overdrive sounds. A Sustain control gives extra punch to guitar leads and a Threshold control adjusts the pedal’s sensitivity.
- NexFX StereoChorus (NEX-5300) Stereo Chorus pedal
The Sabine NexFX StereoChorus has two outputs for true stereo effect. An AutoPan function sweeps between outputs at an adjustable rate, and a Mix control adjusts the balance between wet and dry sound.
- NexFX Compressor (NEX-5400) Compressor pedal
The NexFX Compressor carries the famous Sabine compressor. The pedal gives easy control of Ratio, Threshold and Attack and produces a clean sustain for punch without distortion.
- NexFX Phlanger (NEX-5500 Phase Shifter/Flanger
The NexFX Phlanger is two classic effects in one: Flanger and Phaser. Bright, easy to read knobs control Intensity, Speed and Regeneration. The extremely versatile NexFX Phlanger allows guitar players to mix between both effects — and create new sounds by combining effects.
