System 6000s began shipping in early 2000, and are being installed in many industry leading audio production facilities throughout the world. The System 6000 offers all new cutting edge surround, multi-channel, film, post, mastering and broadcast audio processing tools, all accessible through a powerful,fast and intuitive color touch screen user interface implemented within the TC ICON remote controller, which is the centerpiece of the System 6000.
System 6000 algorithms include the industry standard VSS(tm) reverb technology in a newly developed multi-channel version, called VSS-5.1(TM).Multi-channel, multi-band Dynamics processing is also available in the System 6000. Additional classic TC algorithms provided are Pitch, Reverbs,Chorus, Delay, Room Simulation, Phase, EQ, and more, all at the highest quality and resolution ever. Also included are 100 of the most famous classic M5000 factory presets.
The System 6000 communicates via standard Ethernet connectors, and uses USB connectors for connecting optional keypads, joysticks and other types of control devices. MIDI I/O and extra VGA and Keyboard/Mouse connections are also available. Basic System 6000 retail prices start from $8,495.
