TC Works Launches MasterX 3+5 Bundle
July 21, 2000TC WORKS announces MasterX 3+5 Bundle, featuring an all new 5 band dynamics processing plug-in - MasterX 5, bundled along with the original studio standard original MasterX 3 band plug-in The new bundle includes the entire set of features and improvements found in version 1.5 which are now available in both plug-ins. MasterX 3+5 Bundle provides integrated multiband expansion, compression and limiting, all optimized for mastering applications within Digidesign's ProTools. An intuitive user interface provides a stream-lined approach to dynamics processing featuring many new ideas to make this critical process faster and easier.
The MasterX 3+5 Bundle features 48 bit resolution, multiple crossover slopes and added compatibility with Digidesign's Pro Tools Mix 24 card. Uncorrelated stereo dithering and various other dithering schemes are now also offered from 24, down to 8 bits. Additionally, narrower crossover points have been added in the mid band to allow the user greater control over the mastering process. New presets have also been added taking advantage of the versatile multi-band processing options.
The MasterX 3+5 Bundle suggested retail price is $995 and upgrades are offered at a nominal cost of $99 to all registered Master X users.
