Yamaha Introduces "Watch & Learn" Videos, CD-ROM For PSR Portable Keyboard Line
July 21, 2000Yamaha Corporation of America introduces a series of "Watch & Learn" Videos and interactive CD-ROMs for Yamaha PSR keyboards at Summer NAMM 2000. The full-length videos and accompanying CDs provide topics ranging from the basic "how-to," to the advanced operation of selecting specific voices and rhythmic styles. Compatible with MAC and PC platforms, the instructional CD and video provides easy instruction for home computer connection. It will help the novice PSR user get started on the basic operating procedure while explaining voice selection and rhythm techniques for the more advanced PSR user. The series also includes a PSR accessory catalog with descriptions and photos of each item. "This series provides fully interactive lessons on how to operate some of the most popular Yamaha portable keyboards in the PSR family," states Bryan Savage, Accessories product manager. "The videos are very comprehensive and include an extensive MIDI song collection with printable, playable options." The "Watch & Learn" Series carries an MSRP of $23.95 - $31.95 for the video and $27.95 - $39.95 for the CD-ROM. Available for the Yamaha PSR140/240/248, PSR 270/340, PSR540 and PSR640/740, the videos will begin shipping in July and the CDs will be available in time for Christmas.
