The ADX-90 is a miniature pre-polarized condenser microphone that is very low profile and is exceptionally easy to use. Designed primarily for use with drums and percussion, the ADX-90 will fit into very tight places, beneath cymbals, on cymbal stands, in-between drums. Lightweight and compact, the ADX90 is also outstanding on saxophone and other brass instruments and can used in conjunction with a standard mic cable or with a wireless (wiring and connector would have to be changed depending on make and model of wireless system). Characterized by a cardioid pickup pattern and a smooth uniform response over a frequency range of 50 Hz 18 kHz, ADX-90 is precision machined aluminum with an integral clamp and cable. The mic is designed to be in the proper position for miking most instruments and any final adjustments are easy with the flexible gooseneck attached to the mic. . The integral clamp is small and easy to use and is made of durable chrome plated steel. Operation requires phantom power of 9 52 Volts and a phantom power adapter is included with the product. Low noise electronic circuitry coupled with balanced output allows interference-free performance even with long cable runs. The ADX-90 is road-worthy and capable of reproducing sound pressure levels of up to 140 dB. The ADX-90 is available from authorized Audix dealers at a suggested retail price of $199 and includes an integral clamp, foam windscreen, cable, protective carrying pouch, and a phantom power supply adapter.
