The Original Acoustic Instruments (OAI) division of Gibson Musical Instruments is proud to announce the addition of the Sam Bush F-5 Mandolin to its line of fine historic acoustic instruments.

This mandolin is an exact replica of Sam’s personal F-5 and is reminiscent of the highly prized 1930’s Gibson F-5, but with the subtle nuances that make Sam’s mandolin, and his sound, so unique.

From the wider, unfinished neck, to the radius fingerboard and larger frets, this mandolin is Gibson’s tribute to the modern mandolin master and the luthier's craft.

Other features include thinner top graduations, 30’s style inlays on the headstock, block inlays on the fingerboard, Sam’s personal string spacing, a signature tailpiece cover, and Sam’s personal preference – a shaped case.

Finished in a 1930’s Gibson Sunburst with gold hardware, this instrument is truly a work of art. Sam’s personal commitment to quality and integrity is such, that he personally plays every instrument before we ship them.

The Sam Bush F-5 model is ready to be ordered now.
