Furman and Ultra Sound Form Interfacing Technologies

Gary Kephart, President and CEO of Furman Sound announced the formation of a new venture in collaboration with Ultra Sound. "Interfacing Technologies products will focus on fixed installations and touring sound systems Don Pearson, Chief Engineer at Ultra Sound/Pro Media has been working very closely with our Engineering Manager Bob Cavin on several exciting new products. "The first offering from this collaboration will be two analyzer interface systems, the AIS-10 and AIS-20. Both are designed to be used with EAW's SIA SMAART System. They may also be used with other computer-based analyzer systems. Both units are designed for ultimate portability, and fit easily into a lap top carrying case.

"Interfacing Technologies hopes to evolve as the company where industry professionals involved in live sound and touring look to get solutions to their everyday problems," commented Don Pearson. "I've worked closely with Bob Cavin over the years. I see this alliance as a great opportunity to provide the industry with some very useful and very well thought out products."
