Korg Releases Software Update for the D16 Digital Recording Studio

Advertisement Following the introduction of the widely acclaimed D16 Digital Recording Studio, Korg announces the release of the D16v2 OS Update. This updated software provides support for data backup to CDR/CDRW, and the ability to import and export WAV files using a PC formatted media. The software also features enhanced MIDI support, enabling the D16 to send and receive MIDI Time Code and MMC, along with the ability to send and receive mixer parameters as MIDI controller messages. The Korg D16 Digital Recording Studio features 16 tracks of uncompressed 24-bit recording/playback in a compact, easy-to-use package. It includes a wide variety of high-quality internal effects along with a 24 channel mixer and a full-function EQ. Also included are exclusive features such as Korgs acclaimed REMS (Resonant structure and Electronic circuit Modeling System) technology and a Touch View(TM) system with a large backlit display.
