BOSS is proud to premiere the GT-6 Guitar Effects Processor, a supremely powerful floor multi-effects unit with 15 knobs for quick, intuitive control. As the new flagship model of the popular GT-Series, the GT-6 gives guitarists the most full-featured COSM modeling preamp and multi-effects capabilities of any BOSS pedalboard in history—including new Distortion/Overdrive Modeling and Wah Modeling—while remaining surprisingly affordable. This is bolstered by all-new effects, 28-bit sound quality, a simple interface and a head-turning gold color befitting the GT-6’s status as the new king of floor multi-effects units.

The new GT-6 starts with a robust COSM Amp Modeling section, giving guitarists an unprecedented 30 amp choices—from vintage classics to modern screamers—plus speaker cabinet selections with the twist of a knob. These models are simply some of the best guitar amp models available at any price, thanks to the time and attention dedicated to replicating every sonic nuance of the originals.

Then the GT-6 takes COSM Modeling a step further by offering killer new Overdrive/Distortion Modeling (15 types of classic distortion and overdrive pedals) and COSM Wah Modeling (5 types of vintage and modern wah pedals). As with COSM Amp Modeling, incredible attention was paid to every detail of the Overdrive/ Distortion and Wah Modeling, giving users a wide range of choices with complete control.

There is also a new "Customize" function which lets users "create" and store new amp types, distortion units and wah pedals by selecting from a range of parameters.

In addition to ultra high-quality BOSS effects like chorus, delay, reverb, phasing, flanging, tremolo, pitch shifting, Slicer, Acoustic Simulator and more, the GT-6 is the first BOSS unit to offer new "Uni-V" and "De-Fretter" effects, which provide cool phase shifting-vibrato effects and simulate the sound of a "fretless" guitar, respectively.

Of special note is how simple it is to use the GT-6. Thanks to 15 knobs, guitarists can tweak and save their tones very quickly during live performances or in the studio. An EZ Tone feature allows for straightforward creation of new effects patches using templates. And an onboard expression pedal with automatic parameter assignments makes realtime control easy.

Connections to the GT-6 include stereo outputs, an external effects loop, a Control/Expression pedal input, MIDI In/Out, and Digital output, making it perfect for live performers, studio pros and any guitarist who wants the ultimate in BOSS guitar multi-effects.
