July 24, 2001Among the new lineup of Edirol products are a pair of straightforward USB audio I/O devices, covering analog and digital connections, that turn your USB equipped computer or laptop into a digital audio recorder - quickly and easily.
The UA-1A Digital Audio Capture is a mouse-sized device for analog I/O. Internal D/A A/D converters operates at 16bit/44.1kHz. Convenient USB connections provides clean digital data transmission as well as power no AC power adapter. 1 pair stereo RCA input-output connections allows you to capture audio from cd players, keyboards or any analog device with line level output connections. Works with a variety of popular digital audio recording applications for both Mac and Windows platforms. MME (WIN), Sound Manager (MAC) compatible. Release date: Fall 2001.
The UA-1D Digital Audio Capture comes in a similar package, but offers optical/co-axial connections. It is completely powered by the USB bus as well, and no power adapter is needed.
