EV (Electro-Voice) introduced the SxA100 powered loudspeaker at Summer NAMM, Demo Room #2010, Mezzanine, Level Two. The SxA100 is a bi-amped two-way 12-inch box featuring a high-quality mic-pre, limiter and dynamic filtering. "We started with a high-quality mic-pre and included dynamic filtering to ensure the unit offered superb performance at any level. Then we went to work on the limiter. We wanted it to be smooth and transparent – and indeed it is – we surpassed the specs we set for ourselves. The unit features a 55 Hz – 20,000 Hz frequency response and 150 watts/75 watts continuous LF/HF power handling.
