This summer, Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) responds to the overwhelming number requests it has received from guitarists by proudly introducing a new line of tube amplfiers that, for the first time ever, combines the essence of Fender’s storied Blackface tones with super hot overdrive channels. The new "Pro Tube Series" will feature three amplifiers that will be unveiled this summer in Nashville, including the Pro Reverb, the Twin-Amp and the Concert Reverb.

The three new models in the Pro Tube Series are all-tube combo amplifiers designed for guitarists looking for the unmistakeable clean tones with tube-driven Reverb and Tremolo that are synonymous with Fender Blackface amplifiers. In addition, and in response to requests and input from numerous musicians, each of the three new models will now also offer a modern tube-driven overdrive channel.

"Fender has never offered an amp with Tremolo and high gain channel switching," says Shane Nicholas, marketing manager of Fender amplifiers. "Each amp in the new Pro Tube Series is a long awaited ‘dream come true’ for a lot of guitarists, including all of us at Fender!"

The three amplifiers in the Pro Tube Series feature two channels, with Channel One’s controls including Volume, Treble, Bass and Mid controls, as well as a Bright switch. Channel Two features Gain, Treble, Bass, Mid and Volume controls. There are also master controls for Reverb and Tremolo. Each amplifier features a 1/4 power switch and full-featured effects loop, offering versatility in any situation, from live performances to studio applications.

Three different speaker configurations and two different power ratings offer guitarists a variety of tonal options based on Fender’s most revered designs. The Pro Reverb is a 50 Watt combo with a 1x12" JensenC12N speaker, while the Twin-Amp is a 100 Watt combo with 2x12" Special Design Eminence speakers just like those used on Fender’s ‘65 Twin Reverb. Finally, the Concert Reverb is a 50 Watt combo featuring 4x10" Special Design Eminence speakers.

The Pro Tube Series of amplifiers will be made at Fender’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Corona, California. US MSRP for each amplifier is: $1,499.99 for the Pro Reverb; $1,699.99 for the Twin-Amp; and $1,799.99 for the Concert Reverb.
