The Pete Townshend Signature SG is a tribute to the
legendary British guitarist who was a key
figure of the British mod invasion. For over 35 years he
has brought an aggressive, powerful playing style
complemented by his whirling, airborne, smashing stage
presence. The success of a limited edition Pete
Townshend SG from Gibson’s Custom, Art & Historic
division prompted Gibson USA to make a Townshend
guitar available for all his followers.
A portion of the sales of the Pete Townshend Signature
SG will be donated to Double O Charity to benefit youth
globally.
