STK Introduces New 4 Buss Mixer July 24, 2001
STK's new entry level mixer is a 4 buss model designed for live sound and project recording applications. The new board is called the STK-VX1443R.
The STK-VX1443R has 14 total inputs in 12 channels. 10 channels are XLR mic/line channels and 2 channels are stereo channels with 1/4" inputs. The first 8 mic/line channels also feature direct outs. The rack mountable unit features 4 bands of EQ on the Mic channels and 3 bands on the stereo channels. There are 4 aux sends per channel. Full routing capabilities allow channels to be sent to the 4 sub groups, which can be routed to the left and right mains or straight out the back.
The master section features 2 stereo aux returns, a 7 band graphic EQ and full metering capabilities in AFL or PFL modes. The output section has XLR balanced outputs as well as unbalanced 1 /4" outputs for the master L/R. There is also a summed mono output that has a switchable, low pass filter allowing the output to directly drive a subwoofer amplifier.
