Tama Adds Sterling Sparkle Finish to Starclassic Performer EFX

July 24, 2001Six months after the January show saw the introduction of Tamas covered birch Starclassic Performer EFX series, the Summer NAMM Show in Nashville will see the addition of the new Sterling Sparkle finish to the mix. Commented Koji Kamada of Tama: "Players who want a birch drum kit now have a huge number of choices. Weve got over nine painted finishes in the regular painted Performer kit and now weve got four wrapped finishes in the EFX.
"Plus everyones going to dig the new Sterling Sparkle EFX finish," continued Kamada "It will work for Lars Ulrich fans, and it will work for players who love the classic look of the old vintage sparkle kits. And it will make a great store display
for the few minutes before its sold."
Starclassic Performer EFX drums feature 100% birch shells wrapped in the choice of four different coverings: Charcoal Silk, White Silk, Liquid Metal, and the new Sterling Sparkle. Available sizes include three different 18" deep bass drums, three different 16" deep bass drums, three different floor toms, seven Accel sized toms, seven deep sized toms, and two matching finish snare drums.
