Apex Introduces New Desktop and 'Shotgun' Mics

The Apex Microphone Line Continues to grow with the addition of the Apex145 Dynamic desktop microphone, and the Apex175 shotgun mic. The Apex145 is a dynamic cardioid tabletop microphone with a latching on /off silent switch. It is an ideal mic for use in a conference room or on a lectern or podium where permanent mounting isnt possible. It also features an on/off switch allowing the microphone output to be controlled at the source. The Apex145 has a die-cast weighted base, XLR balanced output and an 18-inch integrated gooseneck. It has a cardioid pickup pattern with a frequency response of 100 12000Hz and a sensitivity of 75dB. Also new to Apex series is the Apex175 shotgun condenser microphone. This supercardioid shotgun mic will run on either phantom or battery power and has a frequency response of 70 16000Hz, and a 70dB sensitivity rating. The Apex175 comes with a pistol grip mic clip, and a foam windsock making it perfect for any application requiring a top performing, lightweight (392g) shotgun microphone.
