Edirol's new MA-10A and MA-10D Micro Monitor Speakers are designed for the desktop computer music environment. Both models are magnetically shielded to reduce interference from computer monitors, and feature a 2-way bass-reflex enclosure, 20 Watts of power, bass and treble controls on the front, headphone jack, and wood grained cabinet finish. The two models differ only in their inputs, with the MA-10A sporting RCA input, while the MA-10D has 24-bit 96khz coaxial/optical digital input and output as well as the RCA connections. The MA-10 series speakers are expected to ship in September, 2001. As of NAMM, suggested retail prices are $135 for the MA-10A and $175 for the MA-10D.
