Edirol Corporation introduced the UA-3 Digital Audio Capture at the 2001 Summer NAMM show. This compact device turns your computer or laptop into a digital audio recorder quickly and easily. Connect a variety of input devices and convert analog audio to digital via the 20-bit/44.1 or 48 kHz A/D/A converter. Connections include: 1. Discreet 1/4" guitar (Hi-Z) and 1/8" microphone (w/48v phantom power) inputs with sensitivity control, 2. RCA stereo input-output with sensitivity control, 3. Optical S/PDIF input-output, 4. USB connection that provides power (no AC power adapter), 5. Headphone jack with volume control for monitoring playback. The UA-3 is MME (WIN) and Sound Manager (MAC) compatible.
