Edirol Announces UM-880 8x8 USB MIDI Interface

Edirol Corporation has announced the UM-880 8x8 USB MIDI Interface, a 1 rack space device that provides an 8 input – 8 output MIDI switching interface.

Featuring zero-latency Hardware Direct MIDI Routing (HDMR) with Fast Processing of MIDI (FPT) and merge function, the UM-880 can store up to 16 patch change commands and is fully automated. Program the UM-880 using the front panel switches or your computer. Utility functions include preview, cable check and MIDI event filter. The UM-880 also functions as a stand-alone MIDI patch bay without a computer connection.

Convenient USB connections on both front and rear panel makes installation to either PC or MAC computer quick and easy.
