Ibanez Announces Limited Edition Artwood with Cedar Top

Ibanez is straying every so slightly from tradition by offering a solid cedar top on the AW150LG. "But it’s only a limited edition," commented Paul Specht of Ibanez Communications. "There’s also one other difference—
some players prefer having a pickguard on a cedar-topped guitar. Others consider that guitar heresy. No problem— each AW150 comes with a pickguard ‘on the side.’ That way the player can decide on guard or off guard for themselves."
Added Specht: "Our limited edition Artwood also features Elixir strings. But that’s one thing we didn’t limited to the AW150. All our Artwood guitars now come equipped with Elixir strings—at no increase in price."
