Moses Introduces 5-String Neck-Through Line and Redesigned KP-4 Upright

July 24, 2001

Moses introduced its premiere 5-string neck through body bass product line at Summer NAMM, Nashville. These 35" scale headstocked and headless basses feature a uniquely sculpted graphite body. This body is coupled with either solid hardwood body wings or an easily detachable tubular framed body for ease of travel. The soapbar pickups on all models are a dedicated design produced by Lace Sensor for Moses Graphite.

Moses Graphite was also exhibiting its newly re-designed KP-4 Electric Upright Bass. This bass combines advanced materials, integrated design and extreme portability with balanced comfort and warm, realistic tone. A KP-4 is on display in Paul Allen’s EMP History of the Guitar Museum, Seattle. Curator’s acknowledge that"…they do indeed represent the cutting edge in creative thinking."

The realistic, rich-toned Moses magnetic upright bass pickup used on the KP-4 EUB’s is now offered for use with ease on 4-string acoustic basses.
