Boss Introduces DD-6 Delay Pedal

Over Five Seconds of Stereo Delay and More

July 20, 2002

BOSS has announced its next-generation delay pedal, the DD-6 Digital Delay. This pedal is the first BOSS delay to offer stereo input and output jacks for true stereo applications. And with a delay/hold time of over five seconds (5,200ms)--plus new Warp effects, Reverse delay and easy tap tempo--the DD-6 is a worthy successor to BOSS' DD-5.

Thanks to stereo input and output jacks, the DD-6 lets guitarists maintain a true stereo signal path when used with other stereo pedals like the BOSS BF-3 Flanger and RV-5 Reverb. An expanded delay time of up to 5,200ms makes it possible to record longer phrases when using the Hold function, while a built-in tap tempo capability makes synchronizing delays simple without use of an external footswitch.

The DD-6's stereo delays are capable of creating spacious panning effects, plus other cool delays via Reverse and new Warp modes. Reverse mode makes it easy to get those cool backwards effects made popular in the '60s and '70s, while the new Warp mode generates radical delay effects on the fly.

Connections to the DD-6 include stereo 1/4-inch inputs and outputs, and an input for an optional AC adapter. Like all BOSS compact pedals, the DD-6 comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
