Cakewalk has announced the SONAR Axis of Audio music retail clinic tour. The Axis of Audio tour for the first time brings Cakewalk together with Waves, Ltd. and Native Instruments, two leading DirectX audio effects and soft synth plug-in developers.
Axis of Audio music retail clinics will be hosted by product specialists from Cakewalk, Waves and Native Instruments, and will provide in-depth, live demonstrations of Cakewalk's SONAR 2.0 digital music production software, along with the latest in DirectX real-time audio effects and soft synth plug-in technology from Waves and Native Instruments.
Waves Ltd., a supplier of audio signal processing solutions for the audio and multimedia markets, will feature their new, fully-automatable DirectX 8 Waves Native Bundle. Native Instruments, one of the first companies to use the possibilities of real-time sound synthesis on standard computers, will feature the new Kontakt DXi and Absynth DXi software instruments. Both companies' plug-ins extend the professional recording and mixing capabilities within the SONAR production environment.
"Cakewalk is joining forces with two of the leading names in software synths and audio effects --Native Instruments and Waves-- to demonstrate a complete Windows-based studio in action," commented Anthony Conte, vice president of sales at Cakewalk. "We're showing musicians how they can produce complete projects using the SONAR 2.0 digital recording system along with automatable DirectX effects from Waves and the latest DXi software synths from Native Instruments. It's a powerful combination."
The SONAR AXIS of AUDIO tour kicks off September 2002 at key music retailers in California and New York, and runs through October 2002. For more information, visit their web site at www.cakewalk.com. |
