Edirol Corporation has announced the release of their latest and most powerful USB audio capture device, the UA-700. The UA-700 couples 24bit/96 kHz processing with Roland's COSM Mic/Guitar-Amp modeling, all in the same device. It is a complete input/output solution for both Audio and MIDI via USB. At the same time it can be used as a standalone A/D converter or as an effects box for the performer. The UA-700 has a suggested retail price of $595.
The main features of the UA-700 include:

- Two combo inputs, XLR/phones, +48v phantom power for condenser mic
