The AEG10NTG is the first nylon-string guitar in Ibanez line of AE live performance acoustic-electric guitars. "The AEG10NTNG is the perfect instrument for steel string players who want to add the sound of nylon strings to their palette," said Charlie "Boo-Chang" Hayashi, the outgoing head of Ibanez USA's acoustic division who is returning home to Japan after five years in the USA.
"You've got a cutaway and 14th fret neck/body joint which offer much easier upper fret access than a standard nylon. And the nylon sound is accurately reproduced by the combination of a Fishman Sonicore bridge pickup up and the Ibanez Shape Shifter tone shaper EQ."
The Ibanez AEQ10NTNG also features a spruce top, mahogany neck, back and sides, gold classical tuners, an abalone rosette, mother of pearl Ibanez headstock logo and a standout Tangerine high gloss finish.. The list price is $419.99
