| Ibanez Unveils Limited Edition BTB 5-String

With a rosewood and figured maple top, a mahogany back and a bubinga fingerbaord, Ibanez new BTB5CRW has everything a bass shop could want--everything except unlimited availability. "Because of the very select woods needed to created this bass masterpiece, only a very few pieces will be made," commented Ritchie Umemura of the Ibanez USA bass division."I only wish we had more." The bass was unveiled at the Summer 2002 Nashville NAMM Show.
The BTB5CRW features Bartolini custom pickups, an 18V Bartonlini 3-band EQ, and a 35" scale Prestige neck that has received extra finishing to achieve the feel of necks that have been comfortably rounded by years of dedicated playing. The list price is $1799.99
