Peavey Electronics announced the new Limited STD guitar at the Summer NAMM show. The Peavey Limited STD takes the sound and feel of the Peavey Limited guitar line and molds it into a more cost-conscious, quality U.S.A.-made axe.
The Limited STD comes with plenty of amenities, including the Hipshot bridge, which holds the guitar in tune longer, and high output ceramic pickups for a nice chiming quality without too much sizzle.
Other standard features on the new Limited STD guitar include a solid alder body, rosewood fingerboard, dual expanding truss rod and Grover tuning machines. The Limited STD comes with either dual humbuckers or a two single coil/one humbucker pickup configuration to accommodate any playing style.
The Limited STD is available in sunburst as well as transparent red, blue and green. The Limited STD has a U.S. MSRP of $799.99 and will be available at Authorized Peavey Dealers in August 2002.
