Peavey Introduces XCON Instrument Cables
July 20, 2002
Peavey introduced the new XCON series instrument cables. What musician hasn't ever had to resolder or replace instrument cables due to a bad plug connection? Wasted time repairing cables and the additional expenses of replacing cables are frustrations all musicians can now live without.
Peavey's XCON series instrument cables feature HEX-crimp technology that secures the cable and conductor in a 360 degree vise-like strain relief grip so the cable connection can't slip or come loose. The design is so effective it also forms a gas-tight connection, virtually eliminating oxidation. An internal copper ferrule provides the maximum shield contact possible to ensure accurate signal transfer. The result is a cable that any musician can rely upon, night after night, in the most abusive gigging scenarios.
Peavey XCON series cables are available in patch cable lengths of 1' to 6', as well as 10', 15', 18', 20' and 25' instrument cable lengths. Musicians can choose from straight-to-straight and right angle-to-straight jack assemblies.
XCON cables have a U.S. suggested list price range from $8.09 to $18.89 and are available now from Authorized Peavey Dealers.
