PRESS RELEASE

New ep-760 Joins Roland's Digital Piano Family

July 20, 2002

Roland announced the ep-760 Digital Piano at this year's Summer NAMM. This 64-voice instrument offers 20 piano and instrument sounds taken from flagship models, plus a 76-note weighted keyboard and built-in Song Recorder--all in a metallic-gray cabinet with speakers. A simplified front panel with dedicated buttons and LED display makes operation easy, even for those who have never owned a digital piano before.

Designed in Europe, the ep-760's stylish metallic-gray body houses a 76-note, weighted keyboard with touch-sensitivity. And inside this 64-voice instrument are the same gorgeous piano and instrument sounds of more expensive models--including 20 tones ranging from acoustic and electric piano to harpsichord, strings, choir and bass. Onboard reverb gives players a true concert hall experience, while chorus effects can be applied for richer sounds.

The ep-760's three keyboard modes make it easy to create splits and layers: Dual mode lets players layer two sounds with independent volume control, while the adjustable Split mode divides the keyboard into two sections, each with its own sound. 65 preset songs are provided for listening or practice; users can record their own performance with the built-in Song Recorder.
