At the Summer NAMM show, Edirol announced the release of their latest compact sound module, the SD-20. The SD-20 is the smallest of the new Studio Canvas line of Edirol sound modules. The SD-20 conforms to GM2, GS, and XGlite specifications and has a $375 suggested list price.
Features include:
- GM2/GS/XGlite compatibility with 660 tones and 23 drum sets
- 32-part, 128-voice polyphony
- Optical Digital output (S/Pdif)
- Stereo output
- USB bus powered unless using serial or MIDI connector
- External MIDI In/Out
- Compact design
- WindowsXP/2000/ME/98, MacOS (OMS/FreeMIDI), MacOSX compatible
